Meet Bob Breed

Bobby provides hands-on leadership and management for all field related services of SRS (NRC’s Special Operations Division). His duties also include operations, business development, accounting, personnel management, as well as design and manufacturing of specialty response and firefighting equipment for industry.

His extensive operations and project management experience provides NRC with competent daily management of personnel and resources for all Special Operations field activities. His knowledge of personnel qualifications and the required equipment resources ensures that NRC will respond with the expertise and equipment necessary for the safe resolution of hazardous incidents.

Bobby has nearly three decades of experience in emergency response including the management of major hazardous materials incidents around the world. His expertise encompassed all aspects of the environmental response, firefighting, explosive material management, remediation, compressed gas transfer and commodity protection, including equipment fabrication for specialized response situations.

He has also served as an instructor in the Special Tactics and Flammable Liquid Firefighting training programs at Texas A&M, LSU, Ontario Fire College, and various other locations. He recently served on a panel to support the NFPA research on flammable unit train response.
