There are many challenges associated with the safe pumping of oil containing substances over water. At NRC, we are fully licensed and permitted with an experienced portfolio extending back over 25 years. All operations are in conformance with state and federal regulations and performed using our significant inventory of specialized vacuum trucks, intrinsically safe tools and marine spill recovery equipment. Whether the project calls for setting up multiple pump conveyance systems in order to contend with long distances or high head requirements in removing liquids from vessel compartments, we are fully prepared and equipped to get the project completed. Once all liquids are pumped and the vessel cleaned, contaminated fluids and solid wastes are safely transported to regionally approved recycling facilities and disposal sites for processing.
